Leather Hedeby style shoulder bag purse Viking norse period

This is our version of a Hedeby viking shoulder bag, a period style bag dating back to the ancient Viking era.
Each bag is made of a heavy weight leather with trim stitched onto the top. I deisgned the handles and cut them out of wood on my GlowForge. The bag closes with a 1/2” wide bullhide leather strap fed through the end holes in the handles and tied. The strap can be shortened by tying a knot in the top. the tabs are riveted, and have celtic bezel conchos adorning the front.
